As Salaam Alaikum ,

Br Yasin and myself are organising a monthly coffee/dessert group get together for reverts, as a way of providing a bit of community networking, support, and as a way to basically keep in touch!

While we'll look to have some short dars (education/lessons) as part of the gathering each month, it will mostly be pretty informal and just a chance for people to come by if and when they can, touch base and enjoy some good conversation!

The gatherings are open to male and female reverts of any background, and please feel free to bring along your spouse/buddy as well - it's important for the other people in our lives to understand some of the unique things we face as we journey in this beautiful deen.

So, the group will meet on the last Wednesday of every month, at the Al-Ikhlas Centre in Botany.  Times may vary slightly each time as the seasons change etc, but we'll let you know in advance each month.  We'll have some tea/coffee available, and feel free to bring along some little dessert snacks to enjoy and share, inshaAllah.
